MEET THE ARTISTS

George Scot McKelvey
George Scot McKelvey is a Minneapolis-based singer, guitarist, and performing songwriter.  A long-time session player and accomplished sideman (Soul Asylum, New Standards, Ipso Facto), George Scot performs solo acoustic shows all over the Midwest, using loops and harmonizers to re-create an eclectic mix of cover songs, original material from his various bands and new original music from his ever-expanding catalog.

Kendra Glenn
Kendra Glenn is a powerhouse singer here in the Twin Cities for over 25 years. Bringing you the best in R&B, Blues and Jazz music, she will captivate you with her rich, soulful vocals!

Javier Trejo
Javier Trejo’s guitar playing is a marvel to witness in any of its forms, whether it’s in his Santana-esque ensemble Caballo Cósmico, the pared-down Javier Trejo Trio, or even solo at a taproom. The taproom sets are as special as they are impressive, because not only does he sing and play, sometimes for hours, but his repertoire mixes in his own engaging guitar-focused tunes with stylized takes on classics…

Billy Johnson
“Commitment-free rock ‘n’ roll. While he’s been moonlighting with George Scot McKelvey in the B-Team, former Hillcats singer Billy Johnson confirms he belongs on the A list  alongside G.B. Leighton is one of the Twin Cities’ best feel-good, blue-collar, barroom-rousing tunesmiths with his first solo album, tellingly titled “It’s a Good Life.” Even the sad song about a sick child, “Elise Marie,” will lift you up.”  — Chris Riemenschnider- Star Tribune
